Join Masud Khokar and panellists as they discuss ‘a place to learn’.

Speaker: Masud Khokar

Masud is the University Librarian and Keeper of the Brotherton Collection at the University of Leeds. His interests and expertise cut across areas including strategic leadership, digital transformation, learning spaces, open education and research.

Before Leeds, Masud had senior roles across the private and HE sectors, including at the Bodleian Libraries (University of Oxford), Lancaster University, and the University of York. He is also the chair of Research Libraries UK.

Panellists

Lucy Hart

Lucy is Union Affairs and Communications Officer on Leeds University Union’s Student Executive. She is keen to increase outreach between students and the Leeds community, and develop student communications both nationally and across the University.

An undergraduate student in International Relations, she volunteers with CLASSS, a small charity in Leeds providing after-school education to children in the Chapeltown and Harehills area.

Chris Warrington

Chris is Director of Student Experience and Support at the University of Leeds, working in close partnership with Leeds University Union.

His role includes leadership of teams and services including student information services, international student support, and the counselling, mental health and wellbeing services. He also manages the University’s relationship with Leeds Student Medical Practice and the Universities Chaplaincy.
